Why I’m Running for Governor of Ohio

Why I’m Running for Governor of Ohio

For most of my life, I’ve watched politicians make promises they don’t keep. I’ve watched working people get left behind while the powerful get ahead. And I’ve asked the same question so many of you have asked: Who’s actually fighting for us?

The truth is—our state deserves better.

I’m not a career politician. I don’t come from wealth or political dynasty. I’m just a man from Ohio who sees what’s happening and can’t stay on the sidelines anymore.

That’s why I’m running for Governor.

Because I believe:

  • Government should serve people—not special interests.
  • Jobs should pay enough to live, not just survive.
  • Healthcare should be affordable and accessible to every Ohioan.
  • Public schools should be funded like they matter—because they do.
  • Politicians should earn your trust—not expect it.

And here’s something I want to be upfront about:
I was a registered Republican. But I’m running as a Democrat.

Not because of political strategy—but because the Republican Party I once believed in no longer exists. It’s been hijacked by extremism, fear tactics, and blind loyalty to one man. I believe in country over party. People over politics. And truth over tribalism.

This campaign is about bringing people together—not dividing them.

So if you’re fed up with how things are going, you’re not alone.
If you’re ready for leadership that listens, that works, that fights for you—I’m ready too.

Thanks for being here.

Let’s build a better Ohio—together.
